My name is Ariana Rohanifar, and I’m here to humbly ask for help in supporting me to sponsor five children through the KCIS organization with the mission of providing quality education to underprivileged Iranian and Afghan children living in Iran. My determination to turn thoughts into action has contributed to this fundraising campaign for sponsoring five children with their educational finances through the KCIS organization. Sponsorship of a student costs $600 yearly, and the student will receive the following benefits: Monthly stipend, preparatory courses, tuition assistance, etc. (You can find more details by checking out the “Sponsor A Child” tab on this website). Also, it’s notable that your generosity is tax-deductible. By donating to this fundraising campaign, you will help us build a better future for the students in need and our beloved country, Iran. Also, your donation might save a possible future noble prize winner from dropping out of school just because of their financial needs!!

Our Mission

Our Mission is to break the cycle of poverty by helping children stay in school.

Keep Children In School (KCIS) implements its mission by either matching sponsors directly to children whose families cannot afford to keep them in school or accept one time donations, thus enabling them to continue their education from elementary school through college.

What began in 2000 as a small project by family and friends to “give back,” KCIS evolved into a recognized charity in 2010 in the state of California and received its OFAC license (IA-16947) from the department of treasury in 2012.

Help a Child

You can help a child by making a general donation, becoming a sponsor, or contributing to their back to school or Nowruz shopping.

Dedicate an Event

Dedicate your special day and help change lives. It’s easy! Create an event on our website and ask your guests to donate to KCIS in lieu of gifts.
