It’s Bardia Mohseni's birthday

On behalf and Paola and myself, thanks for taking the time to read this and celebrate my birthday with me. As we look back at this challenging year and try to look forward to a better future, we would like to thank all of you for being a part of our lives during this past year and making us who we are. With that said, this year we would like to change it up a little and instead of celebrating my birthday, we would like to ask all our friends and family who have been equally blessed and fortunate this year to do a birthday contribution to a cause that is dear to me and my family. We would like to ask you to take a minute and make a small or large donation to the KCIS Foundation: Keep Children In School (KCIS) is a nonprofit organization with one purpose: To provide financial support for educational needs of underprivileged children in Iran. For every donation made we will match it and look forward to giving back however we can during these trying times.

Our Mission

Our Mission is to break the cycle of poverty by helping children stay in school.

Keep Children In School (KCIS) implements its mission by either matching sponsors directly to children whose families cannot afford to keep them in school or accept one time donations, thus enabling them to continue their education from elementary school through college.

What began in 2000 as a small project by family and friends to “give back,” KCIS evolved into a recognized charity in 2010 in the state of California and received its OFAC license (IA-16947) from the department of treasury in 2012.

Help a Child

You can help a child by making a general donation, becoming a sponsor, or contributing to their back to school or Nowruz shopping.

Dedicate an Event

Dedicate your special day and help change lives. It’s easy! Create an event on our website and ask your guests to donate to KCIS in lieu of gifts.
